Question: What functions do you think superheroes serve in our culture!?

Comic books deal with alot more situations than people would like to admit!.
X-men tackles racism and reaction to it
Spider-man - the responsibilty of power and in one issue the effects of drugs!. The drug issue didn't bare the comic book quality symbol but Marvel went ahead and did it anyway!.
DareDevil - the way we look at disabled people!.
Superman - loneliness and isolation because of difference
The Hulk even dealt with the psychological effects of child abuse!.
There are alot of different issues tackled by comic book and I think their main aim is to create fictional characters that aren't flawed because of reality!.

Batman is a cape crusader, but he has a lot of issues that stick to reality and people can relate to!. Like when his parents die!. A lot of people in the can relate to a tragedy like this!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I honestly think they give some people hope!. Hope that maybe everyone out there isn't bad, and that there are some people who are willing to go to extremes to help others!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
