Yes, I understand she has been out of scene for a while, but because of her strong acting ability, I think she could win one!. She should have beat Anna Paquin in 1993, but oh well!. Anyway, she is a great actress, and I would love to see her win an Oscar!. I just hope that Academy members will not turn against her for the shoplifting incident!. She made a mistake seven years ago! It's over! It's good that she is going to be in some upcoming films!. I'm writing to the Academy, to ask them if they could give Ms!. Ryder so notice!. And please, if anyone is a fan of her's please write to the Academy saying that she should get some recognition!! If we stay strong, it could be a major possiblity!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I doubt that they hold back for a simple incident like that!. People have been through major scandals and other front-page problems yet were nominated and sometimes won!. People don't remember old troubles, so they think all of this is new!. They've never heard those stories that rocked Hollywood and threatened careers, sometimes ending them and occasionally sending them plummeting!. Oscars can happen in the most amazing instances!. Look at Martin Landau and Jack Palance!
If Winona Ryder turns in an Oscar-worthy performance, it might be considered!. But, just as many people turn in brilliant performances and never receive a mention!. It might be when you least expect it!. Jackie Earle Haley was away from acting for at least 13 years before returning with a one-two punch: the remake of "All the King's Men" and "Little Children", for which he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination and WON at least a half-dozen awards from others as BSA! He went from "that kid in 'The Bad News Bears'" to an Oscar contender! Winona might not receive a nomination for many years, or she might gain attention for one to be released soon!.
