the basic story line (just got back from seeing it)
During the days where china was split up into 5 nations, and not yet One nation, a general planned to become emporer, but to do so would take defeating each of his enemies!.
Once he was emporer, he burried the enemies underneath his creation, the great wall of china!. (i dont know if any of that is fact)
But time went by and he knew sooner or later, no matter how powerful of a emporer he was (he was learning magic and powers) he could not stop death!.
Finding a witch who says she has the answer (the way to get it) to eternal life, she tricks him when he threatens to kill her love if she doesnt cast the spell of eternal life on him!. He kills the love anyway and she curses him!.
He becomes stone along with his massive army!.
1946:
Alex O'Conner is now an adult and has been hired to find the Emporer's tomb!. However when he finds it, he discovers someone is trying to stop him!.
Rick and Evelyn have retired and Evelyn has taken up writing adventures of mummy's!. She is supposed to write a third book but has no idea what to writ it about!.
When they are hired to take a famous item to Shanghai, they run into Evelyn's brother (the idiot) and their son who is supposed to be in college but is hangining out at the brother's club!.
Rick, Evelyn, Alex, and the brother soon get caught up in a attempt by a general wanting power in China to revive the Emporer with the item the O'Conners assume is nothing!.
i'll stop at that!.
