In the original Halloween John Carpenter wanted Michael Meyers to be a "force"!. He's human but also appears unstoppable!. The mask just helps to blank out his human expressions and make him more terrifying!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i'm pretty sure the only reason he wore the mask is because it was halloween when he killed his family [except for his sister]!. he had either just come home from trick or treating or he was going to be going out for it soon when he decided to kill everyone!. the mask was probably just his costume!.
