I would like to firstly thank you for being brave enough to say this film isn't the film all the critics say it is!. Sction scenes were very good I agree, with a tremendous score that was highly dramatic!. The film concentrated too much on Harvey Dent/ Two Face and left me feeling why is this film no The White Knight!. Batman was no where near heroic enough and at times it was too dark!. Batman Begins allowed you to have a feeling towards Bale!. A feeling of Go Batman GO! when he first pulled on the mask and cape!. The supporting cast were exceptional and Maggie Gyellhall was superb but for the fate of this character in the movie, i hated it!. Michael Caine was brilliant with his powerful, funny, believeab;e one liners but was underused!. Oldman as Gordon was great and he kept the movie ticking along!. And then there is The Joker!. Yes, Ledger played the part very well!. Ten times better than Jack in Batman, but i feel he wasn't scary in any manner, only funny insane and who loved chaos!. Some scenes, including the chase in Chicago, the truck's flip, the pencil magic trick, hospital scene and the opening scene were absolute brilliance and even The Joker wasn't allowed to shine too much as Nolan always seemed to flip the camera back on the impressive but weel overused Aaron Eckhart!. Comic book films deserve some special effects and there wasn't really any except from one scene in Hong Kong!. The plot didn't run the way i would have liked!. It seemed to be going well and then Eckhart would appear and it all seemed to get rather dull!. Huge plot moments weren't handled as well by Nolan either and the needing was poor as it could have been finished really well, leading to the third film like BB with the Joker card!. Stories were left untold!. Batman is hated!. He's not a hero of Gotham!. But this film is saved and made great by The Joker ( Heath Ledger's) presence and menace on screen along with Gyllenhal, Caine, Oldman and (Morgan) Freeman keeping the film, interesting and emotional as it lacked any moments of sadness or happiness!. An exceptional movie and has smashed records but note it is not the film everyone says it is, and it could have been so much more!. The Dark Knight 9/10Www@Enter-QA@Com

Dude you need to watch a real shitty movie like "Glitter" then watch "The Dark Knight" and notice the BIG difference a piece of waisted crap is to an outstanding masterpiece!.
I know you are entitled to your opinion but really, does it matter what you think!?!
The movie is crushing everything in its path and it might take out the top dog "Titanic" ,with oscar buzz surounding heath ledger!.
personally i did not care like most people about his death (i did not know him) but i do have to say his performance was brilliant, the story had sub plots to keep you glued to whats happening next!.
But again the story was to complex for you,so it doesnt matter!.
and i am sure you knew before seeing the dark knight that it was about 3 hours long ,it wasnt like you went to the theatre purchased your tickets ,got popcorn and soft drinks sat down on your keester and then 3 hours later "DAMN THIS IS A LONG *** MOVIE!"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I definately agree that the film was too long!. Could have cut out about half hour!. Enjoyed the film, the Joker was good but the ending was only to be expected as it is following the comic plots and a vigilante will always be against the police!.

Found it strange they changed the joker as in the comics and earlier film, he fell into chemicals which bleached his skin but in this one it is scars and make up!?

Of course they want to leave it open for another film as this one (and the last one) made a fortune!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I thought it was well made, exciting, well acted and very pretty but ultimately it was quite an empty experience!. I just didn't "care" about any of the characters at all!.
It's good but it 'aint great!. Far too overhyped!.!.which may have spoilt it to be honest!.

When you see Christopher Nolan's other films you realise that Dark Knight is not much more than very, very glossy fluff!.!.!.!.!.!.good fluff!.!.!.!.!.!. but fluff nonetheless!.

Oh and!.!.!.!. "jokeesmurf" firstly why would anyone want to watch Glitter in the first place and !.!.!.!.!.!.
!.!.!.!.!.secondly!. Box-office takings, Oscars, nominations for Oscars and a film's popularity are NEVER an indicator of actual quality!. (A lesson for life)Www@Enter-QA@Com

well I loved the movie b/c of the joker!. I was like everyone else and didn't feel the plot and I didn't feel Christian Bale's Batman!. I loved his Bruce Wayne!.!.!.but there was something amiss with his Batman!.!.!.his voice was hard to listen too!. It felt like it was going to end a couple of times and it didn't!. As for the plot!.!.!.I liked it!. You know Batman had to make himself look like the bad guy in order to save Harvey Dent from looking bad!. Harvey Dent was the hero of Gotham!. They all looked up to him as a knight in shinning armour!.!.!.Batman didn't want to spoil that image of him to the city so he made himself look like the bad guy!. I agree that the joker totally saved that movie!.!.!.I cried a bit when the joker was playing dead in the black plastic bag!.!.!.too close to home with him dying and all!.!.!.but Loved the joker! Best part of the whole film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I personally LOVED it!.!.although that was probably because it had Heath Ledger in > <
I agree with you though that it was too long, and I didn't see much point to a lot of the plot, as well as the fact that some of the things the characters did were VERY stupid (especially considering they were meant to be intelligent) !.!.the bit with the phone-activated explosive inside the man!.!.!.I mean, how stupid can you get!?! you wouldn't just stand there and look at it!!!!! anyway, I think you get my point XDWww@Enter-QA@Com

no i thought the story was held quite strongly
it was well acted, very good action and the ending had an amazing meaning to what the consequences are for being the Batman!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

if you like funny, witty, action, twists and a guy who somehow gets stronger by putting on a suit!? i dont get it!.!.!.oh yeah and his gay deep fake voice that he has when he puts the suit on!?!!?! but overall good movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
