The version that amazed me the most is with Fredric March, for which he won the Best Actor Oscar in 1931!.

When it comes to Spencer Tracy, I can't separate the character from the man!. I'm too aware that it's Tracy!. Sometimes casting against type works!. For me, it didn't that time!. My runnerup for "Dr!. Jekyll & Mr!. Hyde" probably would be John Barrymore!.

NOTE: The Academy actually announced a tie in 1931 because two actors came within one vote, if I recall correctly!. Another Best Actor award went to Wallace Beery for "The Champ"!Www@Enter-QA@Com
