I watched it just before the Oscars so I could be 'well informed' when it came time for the actual event!. I will say this - the movie is shot really well!. It is a beautiful place to set a movie and I really enjoyed all the long and wide shots of the open land!. That being said the movie was total crap!. I thought it was poorly written, badly acted, over-casted, and too long!.
Meanwhile - movies I have seen recently and really loved: Mr!. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (has a really good, wholesome message), Ms!. Potter (women-empowering and romantic), Wall-E (still in theatres, and hillarious), Be Kind Rewind (wasn't 100% happy with the ending, but it was still very good!.)

I love romances, and this one just fell flat for me!. It didn't bother me that they were gay, but I just thought the dialogue was so bland and the movie was too long!. It was sad, and I think it's worth a watch, but it's not at the top of my list!.

I really enjoyed it, and I thought all the gay scenes between the guys were done really well!. It did make me cry, but then most of my favourite movies have some element of sadness in them!. I say you should definitely watch it!Www@Enter-QA@Com
