It was a good movie but definitely not great!. Take out Ledger's performance, and it was mediocre!. also the unfortunate fact that he's dead sort of helped the movie a lot because everyone wanted to see Ledger's last great performance and they were not disappointed!. I think that's the reason why most people rushed to see this, it's been a big hit!.
One of the other things I didn't like was Batman!. His "disguised" voice became so annoying that I couldn't understand one word he had said!. I caught myself asking the person beside me what he was talking about!.

I just saw it tonight and I must say that I wasn't impressed by the movie at all!. However, Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker was phenomenal!. He really made it seem like the Joker was a psychopath, which made the movie all the more better!. I agree that the disguised voice of Batman was extremely annoying, and I too had difficulty understanding him!. I'm disappointed, but perhaps that is because I've never really been a big fan of batman!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I agree!. This movie has basically been hyped for being dark but it hasn't really delivered in that department!. For this movie to be 'dark', the Joker would have had to slice someone up in a gruesome fashion - something the film's PG-13 rating wouldn't allow!. Or the Batman becoming a bit of a monster himself!. Brooding atmospherics and dark cloudy skies aside, this movie doesn't do the word 'dark' any justice!.

I think you have to be more of a movie/comic book fan to fully appreciate the genius of this movie!.
The way the storyline played-out was almost flawless, every scene your where holding your breath for the next!.
Ledger's performance was unmatchable, but i don't really think it's the entire reason everyone likes this movie!. The voice of "Batman" does sound a bit!.!.!.meh!.!.!.but you have to look beyond these little flaws and accept what happens in the entire film in general!.
Just keep in mind that most movies based on Comic Book novels usually tend to flop, just look at what happened to X-Men and Spiderman!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

oh yea the voice meh !. i think so to that alot of people only watched it because of the actors death !. I mean the joker i loved him cause he was a psycho hilarious murderder and more serious!. but i perfer jack nick!. the joker that was hot and more jokerish !. and i didnt like how the joker looked his face looked like it was painted on and someone dumped water on him !.!.wrong!!!! i perfer the old!!! but it was an 3 or 4 star movie !. and whats funny is the man who played batman went to jail hahahahaa!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar award for his amazing performance in Dark Knight, not just because he passed away, but he did an amzing job! i dont think just cuz he died!.!. it made ppl wanna see it!.!.that wasnt even his last movie!!!!!!!!!! he was in the middle of filming a different one!. so get ur facts straight!!!
he also looks very good as the joker, and i dont think any other actor would have made it as good as he did!. (he looked extremely hot too! )

I didn't like the disguised voice the first time I heard it in "Batman Begins!." He moves his mouth funny to talk like that, which makes it even more difficult to figure out what he's saying some of the time!.
I nearly came out of my seat when the cops went to Jim Gordon's house to talk to his wife!. We saw it at the Imax theater, which was where we saw "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," and all I could think was - I come here twice for a movie and Gary Oldman dies both times!
Rachel!. She'll be back!. We didn't SEE her die, and in movies, that means she isn't dead!. The Joker has her stashed away!.

I never liked the earlier movies with Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, etc!. But I loved "Batman Begins," and I would have been in the audience for "The Dark Knight" regardless!.
