Question: THE NEW X-FILES MOVIE!. Was it me or did the trailers mislead me to thinking the plot would have aliens in it!?
This is really for people who have seen the new x-files movie to read!. Otherwise you'll have no clue what I'm talking about!. Just a heads up =)
So anyway, I don't think it's me being mislead!. In the trailers I saw things like when the shadow quickly passed the camera they made it sound like a creature!. They showed plently of shots where scully and mulder were looking up to the sky like they were seeing something!. They showed that man light up blue when he jumped!. AND they showed a really bright light!. Grrrr I hate when trailers mislead me like that!. I'm honestly suprised people haven't sued for being mislead haha!. But anyway, The trailer definetly mislead me!. I won't say anything specific but for the people who saw the movie you know exactly what I'm talking about when I say you were slightly mislead!. I still thought the movie was good in it's own subtly way!. I definetly can't hate the x-files!. I have great respect for the x-files, I'm just sayin I was mislead by certain trailers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know I left the movie wondering the same thing!.!.!.!.!.what was I watching when those trailers were on!? I wasn't too crazy about the movie, and or the whole concept either!. I would have much rather them a way to tie in those missing people to a big government conspiracy or alien abduction!. Either one of those story plots would have been fine with me (since it was what put the series on the map)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Hey, deceive, inveigle, obfuscate, lol!. I wasn't led to believe that there would be aliens, but from the trailers I did think Mulder and Scully would have gone their separate ways since the finale!. I was pleasantly surprised that they hadn't!. Chris Carter totally gets off on misleading and confusing people, good or not, lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i wasnt mislead i didnt think there was aliens in the movie,,,,,the movie was a well kept secret and i didnt no exactly what it was about but i new it wasnt about aliens,,i no what you mean when you say 'that man lights up blue when he jumped',,!.i seen that on the add aswell,,,,,,,,,,Www@Enter-QA@Com
I guess you have to hand it to the marketing department then!. They really did their job!
On a side note, Chris Carter (writer) already publicly said there were no aliens and that it was going to be a stand alone storyline!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
