I love almost every one of his movies, but some I especially favor are:
-The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy (of course)
- Ed Wood (the true story of the "Worst Director Of All-Time")
- Edward Scissorhands (makes me cry!)
- Benny & Joon
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (I just love how nutty he is)
- Sleepy Hollow (the story of the Headless Horseman)
- Sweeny Todd (I love the play too)
I think Sweeny and Pirates and Ed Wood are just great films - along with the famed Tim Burton collaboration - and each have gotten awards and nominations (including the Oscar)!. I love his eccentric style!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hands down one of his best performances!. I guess you would have to break down his movies into where he was in his career!. It's a great question but tough to answer because of his range!. He goes from a pirate, undercover cop, screen writer, Chocolatier, crazy barber, etc!.!.!.

I personally think Johnny Depp's best movie is a tie bewteen the first Pirates and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas!. I think you could also throw Finding Neverland and What's Eating Gilbert Grape into the mix too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

In the end I go with Benny & Joon because he portrays such on odd and entertaing character!. But, gosh, Depp does play some of the best roles offered in mainstream movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
