Braveheart or Gladiator? Why?!

Question: Braveheart or Gladiator!? Why!?
Consider:

-Braveheart was the first modern epic to have well choreographed fight scenes with over the top brutality!. All movies after that followed suit!.

-Gladiator had stellar performances, especially Joaquin Phoenix

-Both won the Academy award for "Best Movie"

-The interpersonal relationships in Braveheart were much more realistic!. Raw, but sometimes comical!.

-Gladiator had a brilliant cinematography and a great score

-In Braveheart, all the characters spoke the actual languages they historically would!. Even the French queen!. In Gladiator all the Romans speak English!.

-The protagonist's mission in Braveheart was much more grand!. Freedom for his country!. In Gladiator, it was more personal, just his family!.

-The settings in Gladiator were much bigger and breathtaking: The palaces, the Colosseum, etc!.

Please give logical reasons and stay away from stuff like "well i just plum dont like mel gibson/russel crowe", etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I like Braveheart because of the battle scenes and because I like Mel Gibson!. Gladiator is kind of slow at times, but it's a great story!.

I like the acting in Gladiator better!. It also has one of the best lines in a movie ever!.!.!."Father to a murdered son!.!.!.husband to a murdered wife!.!.!.and I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next!." The look on Joaquin Phoenix's face was priceless!

Very good question, but I think I gotta go with Gladiator on this one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I pick Gladiator as the better of those two!. The arena battle scenes and fights were terrific!. It's a classic tale of betrayal and revenge very well done!.

Braveheart was good, but way overrated!. The better movie that year of a similar type was Rob Roy with Liam Neeson and Tim Roth - outstanding film! Terrific script and compelling characters!.

If you want another, better than Braveheart film - I liked The Last Samurai a lot better!. It has plenty of big battle scenes for those who need that, but I thought the evolution of Cruise's character was very interesting!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Mel Gibson is more awesome than Russell Crowe, but since that won't suffice, Braveheart is my favorite because of Murron, she's so dreamy!.!.!.it took me a little while to collect myself after the film ended!. The battles are seriously epic!. It's violent, but still a very accessible film!. Gladiator was great, too!. But it was a lot of CGI and Braveheart was a lot of!.!.!.well, heart!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

braveheart wins obviously with the willy wagging kilt lifting antics and bloody well written script and direction !.

gladiator aint worthy because i found it one long and very dull let down !.!.!.!.i mean seriously the opening sequences felt stale and boring to me not authentically rough !.!.!.it was full of itself and lacked the passion of braveheartWww@Enter-QA@Com

Braveheart was so historically inaccurate it pissed me off!.
Battle of Stirling bridge - where the hell was the bridge!?

Anyway I liked Braveheart a bit more since it's a nicer story!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Braveheart is better in my opinion but since I play WoW gladiators appealed to me more but I still think Braveheart has a better story behind it "FREEEEEEDOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Why this quiestion!.

There both very good movies!. I cant pick between them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Braveheart!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

wow what a difficult question!!!!

I'm thinking Braveheart!.!.!.!.!.!.!.But i'm not too sure!.
They are both brilliant!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
