well i heard that they were going too, like immediately after X-men 3 came out!. But for some reason they stopped and it got cancelled, and it dont look like they plan on starting again on making a movie!.
But they are making a wolverine movie(once again im not 100 percent sure), just based on his origin and stuff, pretty much this is to bulid up for the new avengers movie

They aren't, as of now, making an X-Man 4 movie but they are making a movie "X Men Origins: Wolverine" to be released in 2009 starring Hugh Jackman, the actor who played the role previously!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
