Question: I've got a few "Dark Knight" related questions!. Possible spoilers for those who haven't seen the film!.
Mom and I just saw the new Batman movie that came out recently!. It was a great movie but some of it left us scratching our heads!.
Yes, we were paying attention to the movie!. The problem is that we are both partially deaf and can't hear some of the quiet dialogue, so to speak (some of the characters were speaking in a low and breathy tone)!.
1!. Why does Batman admit to the police commissioner that he killed two people and why did he kill them!?
2!. Was Rachel and Harvey Dent for or against Batman (in terms of vigilante justice)!?
3!. Why didn't Batman kill the Joker when he had the chance!?
4!. Why did Batman save Harvey Dent instead of Rachel!?

1!. batman didnt kill them and the commisioner knows it, but he chooses to take the blame for it so that the reputation of harvey dent remains untarnished!. if ppl knew that harvey killed those ppl, they would lose hope in their hero (harvey) and also many of his previous convictions as a lawyer could be overturned, as he could be proven to be unfitto be a lawyer!.
2!. rachel and harvey were for him but harvey preferred his way of doing things, thru official channels!. he didnt endorse vigilantiism, but he admired what batman was doing to clean up the city
3!. batman never kills anyone, joker or otherwise, because as mentioned it is his one rule seperating himself from the criminals of gotham!. he is already breaking laws to deal out his vigilante justice but he is not prepared to truly become a criminal like the ones he despises!.
4!. batman intended to save rachel, but the joker switched the addresses so that while he thought he was saving rachel he was really being sent to harvey!. it wasnt intentional
5!. harvey claimed to be batman to draw out the joker, knowing that the joker would try to kill him, and in doing so would allow the real batman to catch him!. he said on the news report after that he was banking on batman to save him, it was a big undercover operation that the policeman gordon was also in on, hence him revealing that he wasnt really dead!.

2- no, rachel knew he was bruce, and torwards the ending harvey/2face was a villain of batman!.

1!. he took the fall for *5* people, because if people knew it was dent, all the criminals would be released (its a lawyer law) He didn't kill them Harvey Dent / Two Face killed thos people
