To tell the truth, I think all of these comic book movies are stupid and overrated!. Yes, I mean "Dark Knight," too!.
BTW, congrats for having the b@lls (or other gonads) to walk out! If more people did that, then Hollywood might start making good movies instead of tepid remakes of unimaginative comic book movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the Hellboy movies are excellent, although "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" is much better than the first Hellboy movie!. You have to have have a sense of humor, some intelligence, and a good sense of history and myth to really appreciate the Hellboy movies, which are based on a comic book series which does not take itself seriously!. If you were looking for a straight forward adventure film, I can see where you might have been disappointed because "Hellboy II: the Golden Army" is more of a self-aware comedy!. I enjoyed it immensely, but I knew what I was getting into!.
Try watching the movie you walked out on, without really giving it a chance, again in five years time and I think you might get it then!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

And they just weren't all the pleased with the movies either!.
I've seen them, they aren't bad, but not what I'd expect!.
