Anyone else think Heath Ledger's performance in "The Dark Knight" !
Question: Anyone else think Heath Ledger's performance in "The Dark Knight" is being overrated!?
I liked it but I just don't think it lives up to the hype and certainly doesn't deserve an Oscar nod!. He's a good actor and I don't want to pee on his grave but he just seemed to play the character how it was written!. Jack Nichoson's portrayal was just as good if not better!. I seem to remember Jack getting a lot of Oscar buzz after his turn back in 1989!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

like, look up one of his interviews on youtube or something to see how he actually was in real life, and you'll see how good he was at acting!. I REALLY do hope that he at least gets a nomination, and I do think that he should win the oscar too!. like, okay I do think tht Jack Nicholson's laugh was better than heath's, but other than that heath's Joker CRUSHED jack's!.
He's more serious, and more scary, and that's how the joker is supposed to be!. I mean duh, he's a villian and villians are scary!.
and actually, if you read some of the stuff that like the director of the dark knight said and stuff, he said that heath improvised a lot!. THATS good acting!. improvising some of the messsed up crap that the joker said!? thats amazing!.

I absolutely loved Heath as the Joker!. I've only seen parts of Jack Nichosons's portrayal but it was a different time back then!. They both played the Joker in different perspectives!. But, No i don't think Heath Ledger's performance is being overrated!. While I was watching him I strained to recognize his usually sculpted face!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Dude you don't know what ur talking about!. Personally, i think he is te most amazing thing about the movie, i mean batman sucks and over does it!. While The Joker is absolutley amazing, and he didn't act the role, he sortof lived it, in my opinion, and the crazyness he portraited is absolutley amazing, peace be upon you Heath Ledger!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think he deserves a Oscar or at least an nomination, but Oscars don't really mean anything anymore!. Heath Ledger played the Joker character perfectly, the way Joker should be!. Jack was funny and amusing but wasn't much of a fiendish intelligent lunatic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

He's an amazing actor and did fantastically in "The Dark Knight"!. He definitely deserves that Ocsar nod and I'll be cheering for him all the way!. I still have trouble sometimes realizing that we have all lost such a great talent!.

I know a lot of people are exclaiming how incredible Heath's performance was out of sympathy, but I honestly think he did a great job!. If he was still alive, I would have still been amazed by his performance, and feel the exact same way!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
