Are the cue marks in Fight Club at the end of a reel?!

Question: Are the cue marks in Fight Club at the end of a reel!?
In Fight Club, there's the scene where Tyler is talking about his time as a projectionist, and talks about the cue marks (which he erroneously calls cigarette burns), pointing to them as they appear in the upper right of the screen!.

I have always wondered if those cue marks are also real - that is to say, is there a reel change in Fight Club at this point in the film!? Any people who have worked in a movie theater or film collectors who know this one!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
In the scene, they are not real, but having worked in 2 movie theaters, yes there are cue marks for when you have to change the reel over!.!.!.in the movie they are too obvious and stay on screen too long (i know its only like a second, but thats a lotta frames)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

At the end of the movie, right before the credits start to roll, there's a single frame picture of a penis that flashes on the screen!.

But to answer your question!. One of the 'easter eggs' for the movie says that the 'cigarette burn' in the scene with Tyler talking about his job was added specifically so he could point it out!. So that one mark in that scene isn't real!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

After seeing that movie, I started noticing that all movies shown in theaters have the "cigarette burns", and I'm sure if viewed in theaters, Fight Club would have had some!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The cigarette burns are real things!. Movies shown in theaters still have them, but they're taken out for video release!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

After I saw this movie, I see them in all movies!.!.never noticed them before!.!.!.so they must be real!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
