Superhero flicks usually are not the stuff Oscar dreams are made of!. Yet Ledger delivered so far beyond anyone's expectations that he could end up as the second performer to win Hollywood's top honor after his death!.

I completely agree!. I think it would be Best Supporting Actor, unless someone can make a legitimate argument that he was a lead, in which case he would just win Best Actor!.
Oh, and that movie also needs to win a makeup award, and possibly an adapted screenplay award, and probably a visual effects award, and possibly sound editing, and at least nominated for a sound mixing award, but that one was hard to call since the sound in the theater was a bit messed up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i believe that Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar award for his amazing performance in Dark Knight, not just because he passed away, but he did an amzing job! he also looks very good as the joker, and i dont think any other actor would have made it as good as he did!. (he looked extremely hot too! )

I think that no matter what he should be nominated for best actor and villian!. But I also think that at the people's choice awards or one the others they should start a new award for most memoriable performance!. (like what they do each year at the oscars when they choose an actor or actress and tell about there wonderfull career)Www@Enter-QA@Com
