Question: I need help finding an obscure creepy movie!?
Sometime late at night in 2000-2001 I woke up to find that the tv (Showtime channel) had been left on and it was mid-way through a really frightening movie!.
From what I saw, a woman had rented an apartment above a terribly odd and scary person who collected packing peanuts and always seemed to be watching as she walked by the door!.
also, at one point, she was moving furniture around and the unseen tenant from below hit the ceiling so hard it burst the floor tiles in her kitchen!.

Don't feel alone!. I saw this film several years ago then could NOT remember anyone in it (odd for me), just all of those packing peanuts! Finally, it showed up on one of the cable movie channels!. I saw "The 4th Floor" and "Juliette Lewis", and actually cried out, "That's it! That's the movie!" Of course, my mother is used to me behaving oddly when it comes to movies AND my computer!. Watch for it on movie channels; I can't recall if it was Encore or some other one!.
EDIT: It's difficult to say, "Yes, this film is good!." This is a WEIRD one, a mystery that moves all over the place and has some truly bizarre images!. You will NEVER look at packing peanuts the same way~you know, those little white foam squiggles!. There are some grossout moments but nothing gory!. I doubt that anyone could guess the ending!. I'll bet this could grow into a cult film once people figure out what it is!. I know that I've watched it about seven times~several viewings years ago, and more recently!. Heck! I'd watch it again! It's not often that you find a film in which the story and characters are odder than Juliette Lewis; I say that as a fan of the lady and her daddy, Geoffrey Lewis!.
If I was going to have a marathon, I'd team up this one with "Single White Female" and "Pacific Heights"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
