Heath Ledger!.!.!.!.he reinvented the character, so dark and scary; while Jack Nicholson's performance, they said, was good, Heath's was outstanding!. When I first heard that Heath was playing Joker, I said 'No Way!'; but the guy delivered; even if he did not die, he would still be sensational!.
Plus, Heath's Joker scared me!.!.!.the Dark Knight is probably the scariest movie Ive seen this year!.!.!.that's right, scary!. The Joker is scary!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I would have preferred the full makeup treatment, but Heath Ledger's Joker, not to take away anything from Jack!. I just think Jack's Joker was in the movie waaaay too much and for the first half of that movie he was like pretty much every other Jack Nicholson character!. I think Heath's Joker could've been a bit more comical, and that would've made him the definitive Joker, but he works as is!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, Jack Nicholson set the bar pretty high as the Joker because he was so good at it but, Heathe Ledger just topped it off and was absolutly perfect as the Joker!. I also think that the person that was the Batman in the movies were also a major factor!.

Nicholson, in live action!. But my all time favorite Joker is Mark Hamill in "Batman:The Animated Series!." The voice is perfect!. His attempts at leadership of the Villain Community and the respect he doesn't get are hilarious!. Besides, his sidekick, Hollie Quinn is hot!.

Jack played a good Joker AT THE TIME!.
Honestly though, Heath's Joker is the best in my opinion!. He's the only character to make me smile on screen every scene he's in and make me wonder when he'll re-appear when he was off screen!. I'll admit it, Heath played the perfect Mr!.J out of all the Jokers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

heath ledger!.!.!.!.!.jack played a good joker but he was too comical and the role as he played it, veered away from the dark side of the joker!.!.!.!.!.i think heath captured it all perfectly, the sadistic, psycho, and slightly comical joker that was originally in the comic booksWww@Enter-QA@Com
