Question: Who played a better Joker, the late Heath Ledger or Jack Nicholson!? !.!.!.and why!?
After seeing the dark knight twice, im ready to go again!. It was that amazing, PERFECT in every sense!. Writing, directing, def acting, visually stunning, and plot twists just perfect!. Nolan is the man and im glad he shared his perspective of batman, its dark like it should be!. This superhero movie was probaly the most realistic one I've ever seen especially compared to the batmans starring mr!. freeze!. Now as for Ledger, I didnt think it was possible for anyone to even be mentioned in the same sentence as jack on topic of the joker, but in my opinion heath was better he disapeared into this character where as we saw jacks personality in the joker he played!. I really hope Ledger gets an oscar nod for his phenominal performance not because the unfortuanite accident that occured, but simply because he was amazing and he did make the movie!. I couldnt wait till his next scene!. Heath Ledger was the best Joker ever played and will always be the best joker!. do you disagree or agreeWww@Enter-QA@Com

I would definately say heath, because he got into his character extremely well, he "became" the joker for this movie, Its ironic that i logged onto yahoo answers to read this question after just getting home from the movie theatres after watching this movie, so Definately i would say that Heath played a much better joker than nicholson,

I honestly can't say I go either way on this one!. I agree that Ledger's performance was AMAZING and he SHOULD be nominated for an oscar(if he isn't, the oscars are rigged imo)!. However, I don't know that I can truly say that one is better than the other!. After all, Heath played that role perfectly, but Jack Nicholson is!.!.!.!.!.well, Jack Nicholson!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Heath Ledger because he made the character his own!.!.!.he added the quirks, like the lip licking thing!.
His voice was reminiscent of Jack Nicholson, but then again, it's the best way to make the Joker's voice in my opinion, and that laugh is SO kooky!.
The make-up on Ledger was also much better than Nicholson's however that has a lot to do with advancements and nothing to much to do with the actor, I'm sure it's mainly up to the make-up artist hired to do the movie's make-up!.
