Shirley Temple~She's truly amazing, don't you think!? She never had the awkwardness of other children about that age, so she wasn't simply precocious!. She impressed Bill "Bojangles" Robinson who once said something like, "God only made one like her!."

1) "Billie" (1965) // I added the year because more than one film has that title!.
2) "Pretty Little Butterflies" // The official title is "Tiny Little Butterflies"!. I guess I can forgive my lapse of memory, as I haven't seen this one since the Seventies!.
1) Bill "Bojangles" Robinson
2) That one I don't recall!. Perhaps they said something or sang something at the same time!. It's been too many decades since I've seen her films!.
1) Susan Walker~~I don't remember if a middle name is given!. // I should have read all of what you wrote!. The other person caught it: Natalie Wood is in "Miracle on 34th Street"!. I didn't read all of it~shame on me!
2) She wanted a certain house that she had a picture of; I think it was torn out of a magazine!.

For an Elizabeth Taylor film, you should have asked about "Lassie Come Home" and "National Velvet"!. By the way, "Velvet" is for "Velvet Brown", the name of her character!.

Actually, Patty Duke was in her teens by the time she did "The Miracle Worker", so she wasn't really a child star!.

All of these came from memory, as I've watched the films numerous times!. I even recall the "In Between" song from "Billie" and that her boyfriend is played by Warren Berlinger!.

EDIT: That's incorrect about Elizabeth Taylor!. She was 11 in "Lassie Come Home"; and 12 in "Jane Eyre", "The White Cliffs of Dover" and "National Velvet"!. She could have entered acting much earlier; her mother turned down an early role: Bonnie Butler in "Gone With the Wind"! (I looked up her age to verify my memory!. She was 14 when she was in "Courage of Lassie"!.)

BTW: When my parents were dating, they went to see an Elizabeth Taylor movie in which she played a teenage girl who was nearly an invalid!. They loved the name of the character so much that they decided, when they were married, to give their first daughter that name!. So, I'm named after an ET movie!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Shirley Temple is clearly the most well-known "child star!." Both Duke and Taylor played teenagers and pretty quickly transitioned into adult roles!.

Temple questions - 1: Buddy Ebsen was a common partner for Shirley, but I don't recall him being "dark!." She also danced with Bill Robinson, who could be called 'dark" in one sense!.

Elizabeth Taylor wasn't in Miracle on 34th Street!. It was Natalie Wood!. Her Christmas wish was for a House; the fact that the house was exactly like the newspaper ad was part, as was the presence of Kris' cane inside!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
