Question: Is anybody else upset that they're remaking a Nightmare on Elm St, Friday the 13th and Hellraiser!?
I don't think they'll ever really be able to replace Freddy Krueger and Pinhead!. The only thing i'm excited about is that Rob Zombie isn't going to ruin these movies like he did with Halloween!. I could care less about Friday the 13th since I don't like that movie!.

Is anyone else outraged by the recent changes done to the classic faces of horror!? How do you feel about Nightmare and Friday the 13th being in the hands of Michael Bay!?

!.!.!.not only does this show that there's definitely a lack of originality and imagination, out there, but also, you have a new flock of filmmakers, who gleefully grew up with these classic movies, and now that they are filmmakers in their own supposed right, they naively think that they might, or (!.!.!.egostically) will be able to make what they think will be a better movie; or perhaps they think that this is what the audience of today really want, though I am more than a little hard-pressed to remember the last article written, where a petitioning barrage of fans are up in arms, shouting, "We want to see a remake of 'Friday the 13th' and 'Halloween'" or "We want a new and reinvented Freddy or Pinhead, but don't cast the original guy in the role"!.!.!.!.

!.!.!.!.in the end, when these movies come out, people WILL flock to see them; but then, that's the key to it all, isn't it!?!? If you don't think that it's a good idea to remake, re-invent, re-imagine, or even touch the original films, then don't go see them!. They'll get the message, and stop making them!.!.!.!.

!.!.!.!.I, personally, have refused to afford myself the opportunity to see Rob Zombie's remake of "Halloween" (!.!.!.though I have seen on-line footage, clips and trailers!.!.!.enough to further disinterest me in the film), and that's one less charge of admittance, that the studio didn't get!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree with you 100% on Rob Zombie ruining Halloween, I think the original is the greatest scary movie ever!. Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th and Hellraiser are also classics in horror and should be left alone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the reason they are remaking so many movies is that they can't think of any good new or original movie ideas!. I also think that is why there are so many reality shows on now!. They don't have to have writers think of plots, etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I didn't even know this!
God I hate it when that happens!. Classics aren't supposed to be re-made!. Especially scary movies!. Freddie vs!. Jason already sucked ***!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

man that sucks
the original movies are better
but now that they make new makes
of old movies they are starting to get worse and worseWww@Enter-QA@Com

WHY CAN'T THEY JUST LEAVE ORIGINAL'S ALONE AND COME UP WITH SOMETHING NEW!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
