instead of being dead herself, not having to go through the painful life after losing Jack !? surely she didnt have any interest in life left in herself having seen him die while saving her!. was it only because of the promise he made her make or something else too!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

He made her promise that she would die "an old lady, warm in her bed!. Not here!." It was a promise that she kept because she loved him- and also, the start of a new life for her- jack taught her to love life and after she made it safely to ground!.!.!.she did just that!. She had kids; she travels; learns to fly an airplane; goes horseback ridding on the surf (all in pictures at the end of the movie!.) and she never forgets jack and what he meant to her!.

Yeah, I think it was because of that promise she made to Jack before he died, that made her live on!.!.!.But I must admit, if I was Rose I would want to live on but it would kinda be hard to live on without the love of my life!.But I think the director had to make Rose live because if she had died, that would be the end of the movie and it would'nt be either interesting or long, it would be very short!.!.!.But in the end at least she'll have the satisfaction in being with Jack for all eternity after she dies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
