Question: For filmexperts only: picture mommy dead 1966 and city of the dead 1961!?
the stories were historical realistic, full of serious dialogues and the wind chill seems to be very real!.

do we really miss those classic chilling elements in our current modern horror flicks!? (where one sees those countless unknown talentless teenie big boob playmates)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I do agree that modern horror is utterly lacking in the talent department!. Large breasts does *not* equal convincing acting!. However, I believe that one man may be able to bring new milestones to the horror genre, and get Hollywood back on track!. His name!?

Guillermo Del Toro

Sure, he's getting a lot of hype right now for his fantasy-action movie "Hellboy 2", but Del Toro has the right stuff to redeem the horror industry completely!. Watch his work in The Devil's Backbone, or more recently in The Orphanage!. His attention to detail is spectacular, as is his ability to generate chills from the atmosphere, not from chainsaw-wielding maniacs jumping from a dark corner!.

Although not a horror movie in the least, Pan's Labyrinth demonstrated what Del Toro is capable of when given free reign over a project!. His portrayal of the Pale-Face Man (played by Doug Jones) was deliciously creepy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
