Is Steven Seagal really as good as his movies make him out to be?!

Question: Is Steven Seagal really as good as his movies make him out to be!?
Answers:
Absolutely! He is an Aikido Master who dedicated his life to the art! In fact, I would even say that a few movies like "Exit Wounds" actually "Down play" his abilities!. For dramatic puposes they had him "struggle" a bit with the constipated bouncers in the nightclub!. In real life those stiff weightlifters would have broken arms and be unconscious before they realized what was happening!. Recently in Hollywood movies like the Matrix poplularized wire work, and digital enhancements to the point where ANYBODY can look like Bruce Lee with a 100 million dollar budget! HOWEVER Seagal never imployed such "Fake" nonsense! Steven Seagal is a TRUE deadly AIKIDO expert! He studied dilligently in Japan for many years at his art which is translated to {Way of Harmonious Energy} Seagal had world wide renown for his prowess and was at one time actually "rumored" to be a secret assassin for the CIA!. That particular rumor could be debated!. But what cannot be debated is Steven's incredible skill level at the ancient art of Aikido!. And a good way that you can differenciate his skill level from someone that is not a real martial art expert is "film speed" and "filming technique"!. In movies like Mission Impossible or Charlies Angels, stars like Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are aided by the Hollywood special effects of "wire work", "Didgital effects" and "slow motion"!. HOWEVER if you watch people like Steven Seagal, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, early Chuck Norris and Ray Park {who played Darth Maul in Phantom Menace} you will see that 90 percent of their action sequences are shot in "real time"!. This requires TREMENDOUS skill because they are not being aided by Hollywood special effects!.

Granted of course special effect Fake Arm "props" are used when Steven breaks someon's arm!. YOU HAVE TO! But the skill level of the move is absolutely real!

NOTE: Both Jackie Chan and Jet Li recently starred in "Forbiddon Kingdom" which DID USE wire work and slow motion, HOWEVER, this was an isolated movie example because the director was emphasising a "Supernatural Element" in the film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
