Genius best fit the Blair witch project,the first movie of its kind and was not done without extreme gore and use of any Cgi effects,used a 35 mm !.
it Gave it realism not no fake over redundant slasher ,blood splattering gore fest (to many remakes,stupid story lines)!.
A movie that fed off on your Psyche(allowing you to use your imagination),that's the problem with the movies of today,wont let you use your thought process,create your own mental picture!.
Blair witch is the #1 top horror movie as far as money is concerned,it beat out the Exorcist (The best horror movie ever in my opinion) for what they put into it and got in return is an achievement and i bet they really care less what critics or people got to say when you invest a couple of thousands and walk away with a couple of millions!.
The movie/story is not true but thanks to a good advertisement & word of mouth ,it is now in AFI's Top 50 alltime horror movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
