Question: Is there a single profession that Hollywood/TV portrays accurately!? Examples!?
Hollywood and TV Shows often base their storylines on a single profession!. (Medical Drama and Crime Drama being the most prolific examples!.) Is there a single film or TV Show (which is not a documentary) that depicts a profession in an accurate fashion!?
The idea occured to me when I was watching "House M!.D" - I worked in closely with many medical professionals before and frankly I have never seen a diagnostic session where ideas fly out without at least consulting some reference material!. (Or collections of beautiful, brilliant, young female doctors like Alison Cameron)
I have family who used to be in law enforcement, and they scoff at police crime dramas!.
So is there a single professional that Hollywood/TV does depict accurately!? Is that even possible when the aim is to entertain!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Look at the stunning portrayal of Harmon Rab on JAG!. Not finding a physical defect in the extensive battery of tests prior to putting him through flight school is totaly believable!. Besides he just has so many other real life skills that you just want to go find a recruiter right now, tonight!. It sure does not seem like they get any profession right on the money, but west wing seemed to have to things closer than the rest to true!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
