According to imdb!.com which I take with a huge grain of salt, James McAvoy is playing the role!. I think he'd be really good!.
The Hobbit is not in Jack Black's genre at all, and I can't imagine him being believeable in the role!. He already had a role in an LOTR spoof that you can see on the extended dvd of Fellowship of the Ring!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
