Question: Question about Juno!?
So I finally watched "Juno"!. I can see what all the hype was about, but seriously, Juno herself was the one character in the movie that I didn't like!. Her character made no sense!. She gets all inspired to bring the baby into the world because of "fingernails"!. But then she's all flippant and rude when she meets the parents that actually want to raise the child!. And I thought that the way Ellen Page played her was waaaaay to mature and "knowing"!. The kid who played Bleeker actually behaved the way a 16 year old would deal with something like that emotionally!. But Juno was just to freakin' hip for her own good!.
And the writing I found to be quite pretentious!. Sorry, I don't care who you are or where you are, kids don't talk like that!. It's like it was on Dawson's Creek!. The writers are trying to show how glib they are rather than represent the way the characters would actually interact!.

Actually i liked all the characters but i do see what you mean about Juno, Bleeker was definatley better at playing a 16-year-old!.
I suppose thats why you do not get an older woman to play a barely legal teenagers!.
But Juno is rude as that is her character in a way!.

Have to agree with you on the Juno character she was kind of flip , but I think that was supposed to be the essence of the movie kind of thing!. The "sassy know it all kid who is smarter than all the adults" theme that is popular in a lot of movies!. It is a stereotype be it the "wise old Black man" ," the inscrutable Asian", or the " sassy know it all gay person" !. Just the Hollywood stereotype machine at work!.

I thought it was really funny, and I actually know a girl who acts a lot like Juno, even before the movie came out (I'm 17)!. I think if you were in high school right now and you knew all those trendy hipster kids, a lot of them act like her and it's just because they're trying to be more hip, and that's what I think makes it so damn funny!.

So me and my friends were watching Juno, and right at the beggining it has that very inappropriate part!. And my mom saw that part, and toattly like freaked!.
but then i watched it with my friend at her house, and i thought it was a pretty good movie, but the way juno talked was NOT mature!. it was pretty funny though!!!

Great movie!. !. More for a younger audience, movie was made for entertainment purposes!. Teenagers don't sit there and think about the way Ellen talks or what is too mature and "knowing!." I think Ellen fit the character 100%!. !. !.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I didn't like it!. For one, it was COMPLETELY immoral!. That's just not even right!. The writing was, ok!. Eleen Page was amazing though, she did a great acting job!. But yeah, um, everyone just accepted her pregnancy, no discipline, no how could you do this thing, stuff that happens in real life!. And I am sure that like a 15 year old would be out in front of an abortion clinic protesting abortion!. And the beginning was disgusting, pretty much almost showed them having sex, which was so wrong!. The cast did an amazing job acting, but this movie just really wasn't good morally!. My opinion, a lot of people don't like it, but oh well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
um!.!.!. Lol But this movie is exactly that!.!.!. a MOVIE!.!.!. Ive never understood why some people who see movies expect them to be completely like their own life, or whats written in their history books!.!.!. movies were made as an escape!.!.!. to get away from normal life, to have your dreams and fantasies finally come true for a couple of hours!.!.!. or maybe to appear in something more wack and unormal then your own life (which you may have thought physically impossible with your family including a monkey for example :P) its so stupid that people get mad when a movie like 10000 bc is apparently completely historically incorrect!.!.!. and its just like what you think!.!.!.!. i mean come on!.!.!. its A MOVIE!!! it doesnt matter if its culturally incorrect because its fictional!.!.!. if you want to see something that correctly portrays your culture!.!.!. walk around your neighborhood or something!.!.!.
