Question: As Regards The Incredible Hulk!.!.(Possible Spoilers!)!?
When the scientist who tries to help Banner is smashed in the head by Abomination near the end of the movie, why did the scientist's head swell suddenly and then go back to normal!?
It almost seemed as if it was refering to another character, or the creation of one!.
Anyone who has seen the movie and knows more about the comics and villains than I do, please help me understand why this happened!Www@Enter-QA@Com

The scientist's head swells and bubbles because some of the Hulk's blood (one of his samples) dripped into the scientist's open cut on his head!. Therefore, his head swells (as if part of the Hulk) and then goes back to normal!.
This seems as if it is referring to the creation of another character for later movies!.!.!.
Go re-watch this scene online!.!.!.and you'll see the blood from Bruce Banner's blood samples drip into the scientist's open wound!

I do wonder why the evil monster (the hideous Blonsky, referred to as "Abomination") didn't get killed, I don't understand the purpose behind this!.!.!.are they setting something else up for the future movies!? I mean they know he was really evil and uncontrollable!.!.!.!.so, why not just kill him!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Several of the "normal" characters in The Hulk go on to become super heroes or super villians in the comic book and may do so in sequels to the film, so the the film was hinting at that!.
The scientist in question goes on to become The Leader!.

If you read the comics, Samuel Sterns or "Mr!. Blue" mutates into "The Leader" by Abomination, he later becomes Hulk's great enemy!. To describe the leader, the top of his head is huge!Www@Enter-QA@Com
i don't know why this happened!.!. i thought that they were trying to set up a part 2 story!.!. but when Abomination didn't get killed, i couldn't understand what the purpose of that was!.!.
