Love that movie! had me on the edge of my seat ever since the main character found the money but the way it ended I was disapointed and they whole Tommy Lee Jones telling some story about life that ties into the movie, I dont know I just didn't see it or it flies over my head!. :( Seriously this really dissapoints me, becuase I've always prided myself on my unique abilty and love for artsy/fartsy movies that no one else seems to get, which makes me love them all the more!.Like Buffallo 66 by Vincent Gallo, loved that one!.Or the Funeral or Truth or Consequences N!.M!.Well Vincent Gallo in general anyway I feel was underrated!.Or that Spanking the Monkey movie!.But this movie for some reason escapes me and really troubles me becuase I'm not able to see it , its like one of those pictures with a bunch of colored dots and your supposed to stare at it and a 3d immage is supposed to emerge from it and everyone see's it but you! :( VERY ANNOYING! The whole movie is about TLJ realizing that he's too old, too scared, and too tired to chase really evil guys!.
Remember the voiceover at the beginning, where he talks about old-time sheriffs who didn't even carry guns!? He viewed himself as one of those guys!. Then he encounters someone like Anton Chigurh, whose evil and cruelty are devistating!. TLJ is frightened by this, and after talking to his wheelchair-bound friend, he decides that he doesn't want to die trying to bring Chigurh down!.

the movie was great!. after the scene were they had that little shootout where they both got injured!. after that the movie sort of dragged on and then later did not make any sense!. I agree with you in that the ending did suck!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
