in the movie there were people, woolly mammoths, saber toothed tigers, horses, and pyramids all in the same time period!.

It would most definitely have to be a stretch of the imagination!. It a bit weird how a tribe that basically dwell in the cold, frigid mountains in a matter of possibly months could have made it into an area such as Egypt!. also, how do so many people survive these harsh conditions!?
