I guess both explanations are valid!.
1!.) He wears very elastic or very very comfortable shorts so when he transforms they get tight but don't burst!. Maybe Dr!. Banner just wants to wear the healthiest kind of underwear he can get!.
2!.) The comic was meant for kids and even if it weren't!. A naked Hulk showing off his huge, green manhood SO not possible, especially in the USA!. That's never going to happen!.
Maybe a good thing would have been making all of his clothes burst during the first transformation and then letting him wear wide shorts from that day on just in case!. Would have been a bit logical, don't you think!?
And if Arnold Schwarzenegger can run around naked in a few scenes, why can't the Hulk!. Then again, TERMINATOR was aimed at adults, not kids!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
