hi!. I saw the happening and it was awful!. I think the idea of the movie would have been cool, but the way m!. night told the story was awful!. Is the message supposed to be about global warming!? Don't anger out planet or the trees will kill us!?! WTF

The premise is an interesting one - plants defending themselves or fighting back!.
I've heard that some plants do have biological inhibitors to protect them from attack or discourage attack from other species!. What the director figures what if plants take it a step further against the top species on the planet - Man!.
What if plants somehow develop an aggressive defense against the chief species that's burning, destroying, uprooting them and the global environment!?
And I thought it an bit of irony of turning the tables in that instead of the plant going on the offensive, it just causes something in the species to attack itself!. As if Man isn't doing enough of that with pollution, global warming, threat of nuclear annihilation, etc!.
Night's movies always makes you think!. What his movies lack in expensive special effects he makes up with great directing and dramatic delivery!.
If anyone is looking for the special effects like an apple tree running to get you would be disappointed!. But anyone paying attention to the story would find it interesting and the message unmistakable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
