I read the book a few years ago and again just before seeing the movie and was APPALLED! Like to the point where I actually was (and still am!) considering writing hollywood a big fat WTF letter!.
If you read the book and still liked the movie then!.!.!. well!.!.!. that's good!. Better to like a movie and get your money's worth than to hate it and have wasted time and money!. But if you HAVEN'T read the book!.!.!. read it and you will see what I'm talking about!.
And to actually answer your question, it probably doesn't embarass them since they're dead!. BUT if they were to live and just lose a match, I'm sure it would suck for them and they'd probably have to move far away and change their name!. Probably dye their hair too JUST in case!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
