The music in 'Clockwork Orange' isn't background music !.!.!. it's foreground music! It's very much incorporated into the structure of the movie and a pivotal part of the scenes; in the most horrific scenes the classical music track acts like an 'aria'!. It's stand-alone from the rest of the musical score, to highlight the emotional state of the protagonists and give an 'other wordly' element to the soundscape!. The music also 'comes forward in the mix', which is another way of the characters saying 'this is my own personal soundtrack to these atrocities'!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
