Can you still enjoy a movie if it has been spoiled for you!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Yes!.

Nobody can completely spoil a movie!. They can't spoil the cool acting and dialogue!. They can only ruin the ending!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, I can!. I often go to IMDB when I'm a bit impatient with a movie; often, knowing that a plot twist is coming up or some other information actually makes me more interested in the movie!. I want to see how they make it work!. It can add suspense, too!

I watched "The Breed" and read about it at IMDB!. They noted the death of a certain character, a young woman, but not exactly when it occurs in the movie!. So, there's an added edge that I KNOW the dogs are going to get her, but I don't know WHEN! It actually did increase the suspense for me!

also, since I don't get to go to movie theaters, most "spoilers" are revealed!. But, that truly doesn't make a difference to me!. If the filmmakers did a good job, that's all that counts!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sure!. Think about it!. Aren't there movies you enjoyed the second time around!? Or even more!? Some movies rely on twist endings where the "reveal" is a large part of the enjoyment--The Sixth Sense, The Usual Suspects, etc--but these movies can still be enjoyed on repeat viewings!.

Furthermore, there are films where the plot is hardly the enjoyable part!. Many comedies or horror films are more about the jokes or scares than the ending!. Would Ghostbusters be any less great if you knew how it ended!? Of course not!.

Spoilers are rarely a good idea, but that isn't to say a movie loses all merit if you simply know the ending ahead of time!. Come to think of it, I can hardly think of any movies that I really like that would have been totally ruined had I known the ending!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I go into quite a few movies knowing more about the plot than I wish I did, especially legendary movies like Psycho where I entered the movie already knowing the huge twist!.

In those cases, I just pretend in my head that I'm the first-time, tabula-rasa viewer!. It seems to work!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

For the most part, but there are movies that can be spoiled!.

__-----Don't read any further if you haven't seen Sixth Sense

Think if someone told you that Bruce Willis's character was a ghost!? That movie would pretty much be ruined, the whole surprise ending effect would be lost!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If the movie is considerably well-made, then the movie can still be enjoyed!. Someone ruined the ending of the Sixth Sense before I saw it!. Yeah, I wish they hadn't, but I still loved the movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, I have to watch it and judge/enjoy myself, otherwise it's ruined for me!.
If I want to enjoy a movie I avoid even the trailers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, just aswell as people can watch a novel adaptation like I AM LEGEND or any other movie with a predictable ending!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on how spoiled the experience was!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

pretty much every movie gets spoiled by the previews anyway!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
