Question: Are Batman and Superman the only "Heros" DC Comics can bank on at the box office!?
with Marvel taking chances on a lot of their stars (X-Men, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, The Punisher, Fantastic Four, Iron Man!.!.!.!.!.!.) should DC take a chance with more of their superhero's!? if so!.!.!. who!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

If DC (owned by Time Warner) would stop trying to make their movies by corporate committee, based on how many toys and other merchandising tie-ins they think they can squeeze out of them, they might actually have a good, bankable movie!.
Any one of DC's characters would be bankable, if only they would stop messing with stuff and just go with the stories and characters they already have!. Green Lantern would be awesome, and so would the Flash or Wonder Woman - Xena was a hit, why not WW!? Or what about Zatanna, the magician!? Or Dr!. Fate!? What about the Question (the new Question, Renee Montoya) - a fascinating character!?
It's sad, really!. And the Sandman would be amazing - but Sandman has been in development hell for years, as have all of their movies!.
Instead of just doing what Marvel has done, and sticking closely to their source material, for some reason these boobs think they need to "update", "modernize," and "give an edge" to the classic characters that have stood the test of time!. Every corporate wonk has to feel "involved" and therefore feels a need to put his "stamp" on the projects - which invariably involve doing brainless sh*t such as having Superman dress in a black leather trenchcoat, instead of his regular outfit, or making him all "sensitive" or whatever, instead of just pitting him against Braniac or Luthor or something that would actually play as a great story!. If they would simply use the source material and stop trying to screw with it, they could get the movies made - and if they went at it, totally bold and balls out, people would get behind it!.
But instead, when asked if a script will produce a great Justice League movie, one corporate suit replied, "You don't get it - we're not trying to make a great movie!. We're trying to sell toys!."
And that's why only Batman and Superman have so far produced any kind of success at the box office!. Because they are the only ones that are sure to sell toys!.

I haven't heard anything about an upcoming Aquaman; I think you guys have been watching too much "Entourage!." James Cameron made the movie on that show!.
What I do know is that WonderWoman, and Justice League are in the works (rumored to contain Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, Batman, Superman and the Martian Manhunter, but you never know until the cast is set!.)

Marvel has just formed its own movie studio and IRON MAN was the first Marvel made independent movie!.
