Question: How do YOU rate a movie!?
What does it take for you to like or dislike a movie!? How do you rate a movie!? Is it more the plot or the characters!? Can you dislike a good movie because the characters just couldn't come across well!?
I judge a movie a lot on the acting ability!. Sometimes I'll like a dumb movie because the actors were just so right for the part they actually held up a bad storyline!. So what's it for you!? I think if you don't fell connected to the characters by the end of the movie then it has failed!. What's your thoughts!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I rate the movie on whether it provided entertainment or not!. It could be so bad that it's good if you know what I mean (case in point: Showgirls)!. Entertainment is key, otherwise, why even bother making it in the first place !?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well CGI is becoming more and more widely used in Hollywood blockbuster movies and to be honest, I think it is ruining movies, it just ran riot after the Matrix trilogy!.!.!.which I did love!. I now tend to stay clear of movies that use a lot of CGI because it highlights the fakeness and laziness of movies even more!.
It takes directors talent, actors efforts and story originality for me to be impressed nowadays!. The problem is that Hollywood are churning out a lot of rubbish at the moment!.!.!.superhero, prequels, sequels etc etc!.
I agree with the acting ability but the story has to be interesting and grab your attention too, otherwise you will become disconnected with the film and lose interest!.

I think the main thing about films that make me love it or hate it is:
- How many times i press pause to get up and get a drink, a good film i never can do this
- How i can relate to the characters - are they believable
- How quickly the story moves, films that move too slowly bore me, too fast and i wish they could be developed!.
- Could i watch the film again the moment it finishes and still be interested
- Are the actors cast correctly
- If its a comedy it SHOULD MAKE ME LAUGH
- If its a romance then i should have tears in my eyes
- If its action i should be excited by the storyline

Ocassionally I will like a movie just because of the actors; most of the time I rate a movie on whether it made me think or not!. I am not meaning some great deep philosphical question, but an evaluation of something in life!. I also tend to give movies high marks if it can surprise me, or at least have me guessing for awhile!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I rate a movie by excitment!. If there is too much talkin about stuff that is hard to understand than i'll probably walk out!. BUt If there is a talkin scene that has great importance, then i don't mind that as long as it's short and simple!. I mainly look for explosions, slow mo, cool graphics, and violent or sexy scene that's all i care about, you'll never see me watchin a english film!. NOPEWww@Enter-QA@Com
generally the story and the characters!. I can not like a movie, but still realize it's a good movie!.!.!.!.like The House of Sand and Fog!. I think it was a good movie, but I didn't enjoy it at all!.
I don't like a movie that doesn't tie up the loose ends!. I hate when movies are so complicated I can't follow the plot!. If a comdey makes me laugh!.!.!.!.it's a good movie - even if it's just stupid comedy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
