What makes a great horror movie?!

A good, successful one to me, would be!.!.!.No foreshadowing/hints!. I don't want to know exactly what's going to happen next, or else I won't be scared!. I find a good ending to have a twist, like, the ending is predictable and then it just changes into something else!

Having great writinig and a really good plot without horror in it every single second!. The beginning should be about getting to know the characters so when something scary happens, you feel more tense because you feel a better connection with them!. And when the scary scenes do come up, making sure that there different than other movies and scary enough that you dont need blood and guts in it every second!.
