How do you propose to have legislation passed that would regulate films so they wouldn't be too much like "Cloverfield" and "The Blair Witch!?" I think both movies are dreadful, but I'm opposed to arbitrary rules that would dictate terms to film makers!. If people want to see bad movies, let them; that doesn't mean you have to view such films!. In the case of "Cloverfield," finance wasn't a problem and everyone involved was skilled in their jobs; "Cloverfield" was deliberately designed to be confusing, and it did good business despite, or perhaps because of that fact!.
Face it, there are more poor movies than there are good ones; that's the way it has been since at least 1908 (when people were complaining that apparently all movies involved a chase scene) and I doubt if things will change for the better in the next hundred years!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Mark,i don't agree with your opinion and the reason why these 2 specific films you speak of filmed the movies like they did is to give you a realistic feeling (Like you are actually there as the story's unfolds)
In case you didn't know,The Blair Witch Project is the biggest money maker for its genre(It made more than the Exorcist) and it was made independently !.

I know the one Biggest gripe people had with these films is motion sickness in which i can understand but that can be avoided by not sitting to close to the screen or just don't go to see it (I am sure anybody would of found out how the movie was filmed/Story line prior to going to see it)

Why make it illegal!? People went to the movie and paid money to do it!. Critics had already told everyone how disjointed and amateur they were but people went to see them!. Many, many crappy movies have come out of hollywood and were done with all the requisite camera work, stunts, special effects, and were still crap!. So maybe we should make movies in general illegal because someone may not like them after they see them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
hey cloverfield is a great movie but i realy didnt care for the bliar witch project but anyways why make it illegal i mean there only movies and if you dont like them then dont watch them!. the way they were filmed was a new idea and somebody had to try it, take cloverfield for instince that movie was great! i cant stop watching it and the way it was filmed was pretty awsomeWww@Enter-QA@Com
No, I loved the change in perspective!. I felt like I was part of the foursome in Cloverfield, not just an outsider!. also, I thought it made the movie seem more personal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
