Its about something happening, and 3 days after seeing it I still dont know what the hell "HAPPENED" Worst piece of crap I've ever seen!. Never posted a review in my life, felt obligated to jump on here and see if anyone on the planet actually liked this film!. I nearly flew into a rage at the end of the movie, especially when they hinted at a sequel! Whats next, German Daschunds committing suicide because Aussie dog food importations are ceased when German/Aussie relations hit an all time low because a single tourist decimated the German butterfly population by releasing a plague of bloodsucking wallabies! MAKE SENSE!? No I didnt think so either, but I guess if Mr Shyamalan (writer/director) got a heads up on that idea it'll be hitting cinemas quicker than you can say 'Mark Wahlberg, READ THE SCRIPT FIRST!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm 14 years old & I don't see why ANYBODY would want to see a movie about plants, giving off a 'toxic' or something, that MAKES someone Kill them self!? The preview made it seem more like, something different was going to happen!. But then, of course in the end, it happens all over again!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's one of those movies that divides people!. Some folks "get" it, and some don't!. You obviously couldn't get into what the film was trying to say!.
I kind of liked it (although it was by no means a great film)!. It wasn't really about what the virus was or why it occurred - the movie was more about what happens to this troubled marriage when a life-threatening crisis arises!.
In other words, it's as much a relationship drama as it is a horror movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i woukdn't say it was the worst film ever, but it was pretty bad!. The thing that bugged me the most is the environmental statement about harming trees!. I try to help the environment, and i believe global warming is a serious issue but when i see a movie, i want to be entertained and not preached at about something that's heard so often in every form of media nowadaysWww@Enter-QA@Com

However, I just wanted to say that actors get to peruse a film's script before signing a contract!. If I got a script that dealt with trees secreting something that activated some "suicide gland" in humans, I would close the script around page twenty and send it back!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You are over-reacting!. "The Happening" is not very good, but it is miles ahead of the worst movie of all time!. You couldn't sit throught the worst movie ever made; you couldn't set through the first five minutes of the worst movie of all time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Oh I think there was a point to the 'no emotions' of some of the actors - they were meant to show that they were peaceful!.

I agree it was horrible!. I was really disappointed in Marky Mark's acting!. He had no emotion whatsoever!. Oh, and let's not forget that cheesy dialogue that had the whole theater cringing!Www@Enter-QA@Com
