How would you get a house to film a movie?!

Question: How would you get a house to film a movie!?
See I want to make a movie, but I would need a house, are there like places you can rent for movies that are cheep!?

They would have to either, not have anyone living in it, or like they can't touch anything!.
Cause you want to make sure everything is in it's place!.

I'm really curious, and I really want to film a thriller/horror movie!.

My house has too many people living in it, and I wouldn't want to show the outside of my house, so people don't like come up to my house and take pictures next to it or something!.!. lol

I'm a Hollywood Producer to be myself, and all I can say is, the movie business ain't cheap!. lol!. Most production companies have to borrow millions to billions of dollars just for one film!. The more unrealistic it is the more it costs!. But if you need a whole house you try your Grandma's house or something!. Do you have an Aunt or Uncle that lives alone!?

It also depends on perspective!. Say you want a living room shot: You can make a section of a classroom or even a coffee shop look like a living room, as long as only that section is on camera, and everything else that doesn't look like the living room is off, then there you go!. It's what the camera catches that matters, not the entire scenario!.

If you want like a stairs scene, go somewhere such as the fire exit of a high school!. Those always set good horror scenes!. (:

And maybe you can convince your family to go to Mexico for the next two weeks or something! (Not necessarily Mexico) But make sure you have your script written and printed, your actors ready and willing to work, and everything handled before you start filming!.

My friend Cal had a project going like this, and then all of a sudden his main character's actor wanted a thousand dollars (when it was a volunteer thing) and the whole thing went downhill and was never finished!. It was really sad!. Don't let that happen! :D

Good luck to yaa!
Put it on YouTube for us, or will it be in THEATERS!? :0
Hahah!. Take care!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The only cheap way is to find an abandoned house and break in!. But that won't be cheap if you need a lawyer for trespassing!.

You could talk to a real estate agent about renting a house that's been for sale for a long time!. It would probably cost at least $600 a month, depending on where you live!. Maybe one of your friends has a condo or house you could use while they're on vacation!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

you locate the house you want to shoot in find the manager and make an offer!. if its that remote you may be able to do it for freeWww@Enter-QA@Com
