You should be horrified - the Viet Nam war was the most screwed up conflict the US has ever been in!. Bombing innocent civilians, dropping napalm and agent orange on farmers, our soldiers (who should never have been sent there and got little support from our government) being blown up by children and women suicide bombers, and soldiers on both sides committing atrocities of all kinds!.
Confused!? I'm not sure why, you'd be confused unless you saw the Redux extended version that added a lot of unnecessary and bizarre scenes!.
