Cloverfield movie: how fast does that monster move?!
Question: Cloverfield movie: how fast does that monster move!?
First it was by the Statue of Liberty, then when the guy was calling his girlfriend on the Brooklyn Bridge she was already attacked in Columbus Circle!. Then the monster was at the Brooklyn Bridge!. Then it went back uptown to Columbus Circle again!.
Did the script writers make a mistake!? Or did the monster just keep going back and forth!? Was it lost!? Why didn't it go to Harlem!? Were there more than one!?
What gives!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have a theory that there was actually more than one monster (not including the small ones in the tunnels, etc!.)!.!.!. If you really pay attention, you can see that one monster has long tentacles, another has big, spider-like front legs, and another has long, ropy, gorilla-like front arms!.!.!.
!.!.Of course, I guess the monster could be morphing and changing shape (and also sporadically changing locations, as you point out) as the movie progresses, but I like my theory better!.!.!.
More evidence to support the multiple monster theory is the fact that the monster kept changing sizes, too!.!.!. The creature that ate Hud was approximately T-Rex size, while the creature that crushed Brooklyn Bridge was obviously MUCH larger!.
(!.!.!.Maybe one o' the little 'drop-off' creatures grew in size to the thing that ate Hud!? I dunno, maybe!.!.!.)
Man, I gotta get this flick on DVD/Blu-Ray n' see if I can notice more than in the theater!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yea idk, it was weird!. Even at the end after they fall down in the helicopter the monster is far away in the city but it shows up right above them in Central Park!.
And what was the deal with the helicopter thing, they were flying right above the monster just waiting for it to jump up and kill them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
