A couple return to a summer home owned by one of their parents its about 3 or 4 in the morning!. They are kind of cold with eachother because he praposed she said ''no''!. He calls his best friend to come get him when ever he can, friend doesn't answer so he leaves a message!.A little bit later someone knocks on the door asks if some girl is home (i forgot the name she said) anyways they tell her she has the wrong house she leaves!. The guy builds her a fire in the chiminy & goes out to get is girl some smokes, while he's gone the girl returns & asks the same question, the lady tells her she already came by & that she has the wrong house!. Someone starts banging on the door girl freaks out calls her boyfriend tells him to come home, her cellphone dies!.! She plugs it in her phone to a charger, then the room starts filling with smoke, smoke detecter goes off, she rips it off & it falls on the floor!. She calls her man back on the house phone tells him to stay on the line with her until he gets home, phone line goes dead!. She gets a glass off water & doesn't realize that someone is behind her in a mask! When she turns the guy is gone, she starts walking twards the front door & sees the smoke detecter on a chair!. She freaks out again because she never picked it up off the floor, she goes to get her cell & its gone! Someone starts banging on the door, the windows & a record player is on in the back round very loud!. So she goes tward a glass sliding door that has a drape over it & when she opens it theres a man there with a mask on his face!. He starts grunting & banging on the door, she screams & runs to her room!. The guy starts banging on the bedroom window, shes screaming, & the loud music is still playing!. Then suddenly the banging stops, she hears the front door creeking open & someone shuts off the record player!. Guy walks in the room its's her man!. She tells him what happen but he thinks she just blowing it out of perportion!. Then while hes there the same banging happens so he feels they should call the police, she tells him they took her cell & that the house phone is dead!. He remembers he left is out side in the car, he goes to get it & the strangers had slashed the tires, broke the windows & took his cell!. The strangers continue to play this cat & mouse game throughout the movie!. They find a gun in the house & are ready to use it so someone walks tward the back room where they'er in, the guy shoots & kills, realizes after it's his best friend coming to pick him up!. The taunting, scaring & torture continue & the strangers finally capture them!. The strangers tie them up & open the curtains to show that it is day light out side, they take off their masks but their faces are not revealed to the audience!. They stab the guy first, then the girl, they take turns passing the knife back & forth to one another!. The starngers leave they stop to talk to two christian kids with flyers for church or something!. They get a flyer & start to drive off saying ''It will be easier next time''!. The christian boys get to the victums house & see the blood, crashed cars & the two bodys on the floor!. It seems they'er both dead but when one of the boys touches the women she lets out this high pitch scream! The end! It really happend in 2005, but they say based on actual events because they pieced together what they could from the evidence they found!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
"The Strangers" is a work of fiction, get that straight!. "Based on a true story" is one of the oldest Hollywood ploys to increase the number of people who will pay to see a movie!. There is nothing factual about the movie, but the producer and the writer/director can always point to the Charles Manson "Manson Family Murders" and say there is a vague similarity!. They can also point to a case known as "The Kidde Cabin Murders" and say there is some similarity, because murders were committed in that case by a person or persons unknown!. Face it, the film uses evasive tactics to suggest that it depicts something factually, which it does not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The movie is probably fiction!. The idea for the movie may have came from actual events,but the story is probably not the same!. For example:The idea for Nightmare on Elm Street came aboutt after an event occured in Korea!.There was a teenage boy from Korea who was having terrible nightmares!.He told his parents that he was having terrible nightnares about a burnt man with hand made claws!.His parents took him to a physcologist and they prescribed the boy sleeping pills!.He didn't take them!.After awhile he finally fell asleep due to exhaustion,the next day his parents found him dead!. This is what lead to the idea for Nightmare on Elm Street!. As far as your question goes I don't know,but perhaps something happened and the idea was spawned from that!.
