I need an old time no talking movie name..........?!

Ok, so when i was little i would watch this one movie around christmas time!. There was music that was sorta slow-ish, but no words or talking!. The movie was about this little boy, and at night he wakes up from his sleep and goes outside in the new fallen snow to make a snowman!. After he builds the snow man with some of his fruits and vegitables, the snow man fly's with the boy to someplace where other snow- people are!. They all dance together, but then the little boy has to fly home with the snowman before his parents wake up!. So then the next day the snowman melted and the little boy was sad!.!.!.!.!.
That's what the movie was about!. Now it was kinda old, and slow moving!. But in it i remember the little boy walking down the stairs and at the end of the stairs there was a grandfather clock!.But i just need to know the name of the movie, and maybe who it's by!.!.!.!.
