Question: Star Wars trivia experts!?
Please tell me the precise point in the original trilogy where Luke learns Darth Vader is his father!. For some reason I have it in my head that his grandparents tell him this around the dinner table (they're drinking blue milk), and also tell him that Leia is his sister!. But of course, I never see this scene when I watch!. So I must be wrong, yes!? Thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Near the end of Episode V, "The Empire Strikes Back," Darth Vader and Luke get in a lightsaber fight in Cloud City on the planet Bespin where Vader slices off Luke's right hand!. It's at that point, where Luke sees no escape, that Vader tells him that he is his father!. Luke denies it, saying that it's not true -- it's impossible, at which point Vader replies "Search your feelings, you KNOW it to be true!"
P!.S!.: Early in Episode IV, "A New Hope" when Luke and his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru are having dinner (where Luke drinks the blue milk) he storms out after learning his uncle wants him to stay another year before applying to the Academy!. Luke's parentage is alluded to when Aunt Beru says "Luke's just not a farmer, Owen!. He has too much of his father in him!." Uncle Owen replies "That's what I'm afraid of!."

The answer is during a fight scene on Cloud City with Darth Vader in Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back!. Darth Vader tells Luke that he is his father, and that if he joins him they can rule the galaxy as father and son!. Luke has had his hand chopped off in the fight!. He lets go of the structure he is holding on to and falls into a tunnel, where eventually through a series of trap doors ends up on an antenna underneath Cloud City!. He uses the Force to call Leia, who rescues him with Lando, Chewie and the droids in the Millenium Falcon!.
Luke gets confirmation of what Darth Vader told him in Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, when he speaks to Obi-Wan!. He asks Obi-Wan if it is true, and why he didn't just tell him!. Obi-Wan states that what he told him WAS true, from a certain point of view!. This is when Luke figures out that Leia is his sister!.
