Question: Why does Neo's hand bleed when he blocks a sword-weilding baddie in The Matrix Reloaded!?
Basically, Neo is fighting the Merryl Vingen's henchmen (vampires and stuff) and one of them swings a sword at Neo who blocks it with his bare hand!.!.!.everyone looks surprised (including Neo) and then he looks down to see his hand bleeding!. i have a complex theory as to why this happens but I want to hear yours!. REAL Matrix fans only!.!.no sarcastic 'because he's just a man' or 'what did you think would happen' answers please!. save it for the dumb questions on here!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The merovingian seems to have some degree of control over what happens in the matrix (able to write codes, able to go anywhere through doors, traffic people in and out of matrix)
, so its plausible that whatever weapons they have are able to affect anyone connected to the matrix!.
That or in the heat of the fight Neo thought it was real blade subconsciously and it therefore made him bleed!.
Of course anyone can be killed that is connected to the matrix, Neo is able to bend some rules and break some, not all, like if he was to be hit by a bullet it would affect him like anyone elseWww@Enter-QA@Com
