Question: Elizabeth/Golden Age: Why focus on a love-life that never was instead of The Queen's Historic Accomplishments!?
"An exploration of the relationship between Elizabeth I and the adventurer Sir Walter Raleigh!." - plot outline

Is the first film better!? I have yet to see it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Honestly I thought the movie was pretty weak!. I was expecting a lot more from it and I don't think her relationship with Sir Walter Raleigh was well demonstrated!. And the movie is called The Golden Age, why didn't they show more of her accomplishments, it was a important time in history for Europe!. I think they got lost in this film!. I prefer the first one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually, Her Brittanic Majesty,Elizabeth Tudor, had an active love life and that is part of her story!. It is unclear whether there was a sexual relationship between her and Raleigh, but it has been hinted at many times over the centuries!. She was a woman of many interests, very well educated and shrewd beyond her earlier years!. She had her father's temper and many felt the brunt of it during her reign, so to leave out a signifigant portion of her life would be detrimental to a truthful telling of her story!. She was The Last of The Tudors and died unmarried!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Your really testing my obscure historical knowledge here!. Um, Queen Elizabeth!.!.!.the VIRGIN Queen who wasn't actually a virgin!. Her early years she lived and loved much like any young powerful lady might!. Being woed by the brave, dashing, daring, and dastardly!. Her later greatness was developed much due to the dastardly influences of these men of politics who, woed her while basically stabbing her in her back!. Elizabeth had been spurned by almost everyone on a personal basis yet her country never let her down!. Therefore she swore off the wild love-in's, orgies or whatever it was they did in those days and lived solely for the greatness of her country!. Quite a personal sacrafice in my opinion!. Compared to today's rulers who wouldn't swear off taking a lobbist's money for the betterment of the USA!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They both were just Meh to me!.

The reason they focus on the love life is because if they focus on the history and accomplishments then someone might learn something and it would be offensive!.

Oh how I love the 2000s when you can sue pretty much anybody because YOU'RE the idiot (after all, it could never be your fault right!?)Www@Enter-QA@Com
